Before I go to bed, I want to post this so I have it documented. A friend showed me this designer a little over a year ago and since then I've been trying to remember who it was. Finally I figured it out after spending over 20 minutes trying to google it. Here it is, Hussein Chalayan Spring 2007 RTW.
The good stuff starts around the 2:00 mark.

Nothing major to write about, just that one day I will own an outfit similar to this.

I'm not so fond of the necklace, but I do think it would go great with a long black necklace and a black belt instead of brown. I even have the perfect shoes to go with it! It has to be my favorite outfit EVER. It was done by Vivienne Westwood. Just beautiful. I wish I could afford her designs.
I can't wait until dinner tomorrow night. More on that later.

Those two pictures are from my adventure downtown when Ryan, Aaron and Leah were here. The first is of us in the Bean and the second is of the most amazing statue I have ever seen. It's a traveling statue of American Gothic (obviously), but it is so ginormous. I'm only as tall as the suitcase!!! I made them venture with me down Michigan Ave so I could get documentation of it before it goes away. I'll probably go downtown at night sometime to get some awesome night shots of it. I don't know why I love it so much. I was never a huge fan of the painting. I just find this statue so fascinating. Here's a better picture that I "borrowed" off someones flickr.
I'm working on a book of all of my favorite pieces of art I have seen recently. I want my coffee table book to be personal.
I must have mentioned this earlier, but I really enjoy cooking these days. Tonight I made pasta with garlic, onion, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and pesto, a delicious salad with homemade dijon vinaigrette and apple cinnamon muffins for breakfast later this week. Friday I think I'm going to make roasted garlic asparagus, fried tofu and some sort of soup. It will probably be miso because I have a lot of tofu I need to use up.
I really need to get a crock-pot. I think that will be the next thing I buy. I found a cookbook on 200+ vegetarian crock-pot recipes. It's perfect for my lifestyle since I'm rarely home during the day and am usually too tired to cook when I get home.
Today in class we were talking about bioethics and now I'm really curious to read more about it. Most of the class time was spent talking about wrongful births which was really interesting. It was mainly about this NPR interview. I'm really getting into this feminist ethics stuff.

A song about sex toys.
I think this video explains it pretty well. I'm a huge believer in safe sex whether you're by yourself or with someone. Passion parties are the devil! Those toys are nothing but vibrating cancer sticks.

SUPER SARAH!
Almost an hour of Sarah Haskins. Here she is talking about how to be a perfect woman if you do what she does. I guess you could say it's a best of Target Women, but with a little extra something.
